It's really hard to believe the first QL shirts were printed 10 years ago... but it's true, the first QL shirts came out in the fall of 1997 when we were based in Chicago. To celebrate this miletone we decided to do a 10 year anniversary series of shirts that we're calling the QL10. We invited 10 of our favorite artists / designers to each do a new design for this project. Contributing artists include: Todd St. John, Evan Hecox, Ben Loiz, Katsuo Design, Andy Jenkins, Ryan Waller, Rick Myers, Florencio Zavala, Cody Hudson & Megan Whitmarsh. A big thanks goes out to all of them for helping to make this such a great line! And thanks to everybody who helped make the past 10 years possible... Here's to 10 more!
P.S. We also made a DIY QL10 zine featuring a spread by each of the 10 artists involved with this series. We'll include one with each order while supplies last.

Two posts in one day! How's that for staying current? Anway, I was just surfing around at pitchforkmedia.com trying to see if the new Quiet Life ad was running and happened about this article. It's funny, In the mid 90's I kinda remember thinking I didn't like them at all ( but I don't think I actually heard them ) and now they are one of my favorite bands. What was I thinking back then? ( Oh yeah.... back to what i mentioned about the The Quiet Life ad -- it shows up randomly so if you cruise around pitchfork's site a bit you'll probably see it. )
If you live anywhere near Atlanta, you should definitely go to Swayze's tonight ( Sunday, July 9th ).
Happy Birthday to Fourstar! 10 Year anniversary party tonight! Check the invite ( scroll over to see who all is involved ), should be a good show and celebartion party.
Big thanks to the good people over at Red Alert for this.
Check out the "GRAB BAG" that we're offering as part of our SUPER SALE in our shop section. We originally only going to sell 4 of these, but we're having so much fun packing up older designs we're going to offer 8-10 more of these ( or until supllies last. )
We have a million CD's here at the QL headquarters but for some reason we keep playing this one over and over. It's a classic for sure.... perfect music for hot summer days.
Thanks for the fine folks at Hitch for reviwing the Poo Poodles CD.
The Poo Poodles continue to move up the CMJ college radio charts. They are just jumped 38 spots from 194 to 156. We also just got a report that a few stations have been playing the album in its entirety.... as far as individual songs go - "He is the autobahn," "Freddie Merucy," and the title track seem to be getting the most spins. Big thanks to everyone that's helped make this such a success. If you happen to listen to a certain college or indie radion station it would be amazing if you'd call them up and request the Poodles.
We just reprinted 10 more of our new Pencil Tote Bag, so if you want one - now is your chance.
Spring/Summer has just landed! We've got a new collaboration with an amazing band called the Poo Poodles, a awesome design by guest artist Ryan Waller, lots of new t-shirts and accessories, etc. etc. Take a look around at all the new stuff....
